Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Choosing a photographer to tell your story is probably one of the most important decisions you will have to make regarding your wedding.
Once the last piece of confetti is thrown, the last bite of food eaten and the last dance danced, those photographs are all you will have left to recall the details of your special day.
The best advice that I can give, is to follow your heart and choose someone whose images you love. More than that, you need to feel a rapport with them, comfortable in their presence and confident in their ability to record all of those important moments of your wedding day. Not every photographer will suit every couple. Take your time before finally deciding. You will be glad that you did. Their images will become more and more valuable to you, as time passes by.
Your wedding day is an amazing celebration involving the family and friends who love you the most. It is a unique occasion, personal to the two of you and your photographs should be too.
My aim is to connect with you and your guests, observe all of the emotions and to capture them, leaving you with a set of timeless, beautiful images that you will cherish for many years to come. Photographs, that I hope will bring a smile to your face every time you look at them, as they help to recall the memories of your special day.

They Grow so Fast
As a mother to four amazing children, I am only too aware how fast time goes, and how quickly your babies become toddlers, and before you know it, you have a teenager!
Children help you to remember that there is beauty in simplicity and everyday occasions. I love to record those spontaneous moments, capturing them, so that you can cherish and look back on them for many years to come.
My favourite images are those that are unposed - capturing the real essence and spirit of the child.

Behind the lens of a camera, I am unobtrusive. People forget I am there, and this enables me to take photographs that capture the 'essence' of a person - the thing that makes that person special and unique.

All things Lavender
In July every year, the lavender fields come into flower, creating a 'sea of purple' and the scent is heavenly. The fields provide a beautiful backdrop for photographs.

From Pregnancy and Beyond
The discovery that you are pregnant is one of life's most momentous occasions. Watching your body change, feeling that first kick, as your baby moves inside you is something that you will never forget.
In those early first days, with a newborn, a lack of sleep can make the days pass by, in a bit of a haze (particularly with your first baby, when the learning curve is so big).
As they grow up, your children like to see photographs of 'when I was in your tummy Mum'. Babies change and grow so fast, as new developmental stages are reached.
When I was a new mother, I carried my son in a sling, and as I walked around town, I would be approached by many older people, who would look at me and my son wistfully, and they all said, 'It goes so fast' and 'Enjoy every minute'. My oldest son is now a teenager, and they were right.

Nature at its Best
Flowers, trees, skies, seas - the natural world all around us. Sometimes, we are so busy in our lives, that we fail to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us, we forget to take time 'to smell the roses'.
